Abstract: 

Five different criteria were proposed to assess the conservation status as well as determination of their priority rankings of Iranian wetlands. These were: Birds, fishes, threatening factors, socio-economic factors and wetland conservation status. THIS STUDY DETERMINED conservation VALUE OF AMIRKELAYEH INTERNATIONAL wetland ON BASIS OF INDIVIDUALS’ WELFARE CHANGES USING CVM SINGLE BOUND APPROACH AND CONSIDERING EIGHT BID AMOUNTS IN BOTH LINEAR AND LOGARITHM FUNCTIONAL FORM. ALSO, FOR ESTIMATING WEIGHT OF USE AND NONUSE VALUES IN TOTAL conservation VALUE OF wetland, AHP APPROACH HAD BEEN APPLIED. RESULTS REVEALED THAT EXPECTED AMOUNT OF EACH INDIVIDUAL’S conservation VALUE IN LINEAR AND LOGARITHM FUNCTIONAL FORM EQUAL 0.45 AND 0.4 US$, RESPECTIVELY. ESTIMATING OF RELATIVE AGGREGATED WEIGHT OF VALUES SHOWED THAT, NON-USE VALUE INCLUDE BEQUEST AND EXISTENCE VALUES BY 38.8% AND 26.2% ACQUIRED GREATEST SHARE OF TOTAL conservation VALUE. ON THE OTHER HAND, INDIRECT VALUE BY 7.8% HAD THE LOWEST SHARE IN TOTAL conservation VALUE.

Abstract: 

Shadegan wetland, the largest Iranian wetland is among the important international wetlands of 537700 area located in the furthermost jarahi river route at ontset of the Persian Gulf in the south western Iran.It’s basin area is 24310 km3 located in Khuzestan plain lands. This study intends to compare procedure of variations in shadegan wetland conservative values using the world standard method daring 1360s, 1370sand 1380s, in this study it is a empted to deal with considering procedure of variation in shadegan wetland conservative values daring 1360s, 1370s and 1380s and presenting a comparision of their conservative values during this period with respect to sources and feasibilities present in the wetland range and using IUCN conservative valuation criteria. Criteria inserted in these methods include 14 major criteria and 22 minor criteria. That at the end shadegan wetland achieved the potentials and capabilities of assignment either as a conservated coastal-marine area or costal – marine wild shelter achieving 101 scores (out of 140 scores) in 1360s, 110 scores in 1370s and 111 scores in 1380s (out of 150 scores).

Abstract: 

wetland services include recreational use, harvested meat (as direct consumption values) and carbon sequestration, oxygen production, water conservation and soil conservation (as indirect consumption values). In addition to use values, wetlands have other values; these values are the sums that individuals are willing to pay to protect wetlands for future use, for future generations to enjoy them, and for their mere existence. In this paper, the value of goods and services of Hamoon wetland ecosystem in Sistan region in the form of information functions (recreational and protective values) in 2019 has been estimated. The information needed to estimate the value of these functions was collected using a questionnaire. Recreational and conservation values of Hamoon wetland as the recreational value of forest ecosystem of Hamoon wetland, was collected by collecting information from 350 people randomly in the villages around the wetland and the conditional valuation method. Based on the obtained results, the value of recreational and protective functions of Hamoon wetland was estimated at 629.82 million Rials and 644.2 billion Rials, respectively. In case of collecting fees from visitors in order to use the recreational function of the wetland and its cost to maintain the wetland, it is possible to develop and preserve its existing values.

Abstract: 

Increasing the impacts of human activities has resulted in great pressure even on quite natural areas. Miankaleh wetland as one of the most important wildlife refuges and aqua ecosystems of Iran has witnessed significant impacts on its structure and functions during last two decades. In this regard, it is crucially important to adopt appropriate policies by the aim of sustainable resource management and wetland protection. In this survey, Miankalaeh wetland is investigated from weaknesses and strengths in addition to opportunities and threats points of view. These different aspects of Miankaleh wetland were identified and explored in both present and future conditions and efficient strategically management measures are proposed. In this concern, weaknesses, strengths, opportunities and threats factors of wetland are grouped, weighted and analyzed through SWOT matrix leading to appropriate strategical measures. Finally, using QSPM matrix strategies were scored. According to the results, in order to meet the need of sustainable resource allocation for tourism, conservation, agriculture and development activities, the strategy of zoning has gained the highest attraction score. By way of contrast, development of integrated pest management activities and controlled fertilizing plans has attracted the lowest score. With regard to importance of sustainable management, wetland conservation, main weaknesses and threats of Miankaleh wetland as well as derived results from strategic analysis, zoning as an optimized resource allocation tool for conservation, tourism, agricultural and development activities is suggested.

Abstract: 

هرچند تالاب ها زمانی بهترین تفرجگاه­های ایران به شمار می­رفتند، ولی در اثر عواملی همچون مدیریت غیرکارا، تعارض انسان-تالاب، تعارضات اجتماعی و عوامل طبیعی، بسیاری از آنها امروزه خشک شده و از بین رفته­اند. مقاله حاضر با هدف ساماندهی تالاب هشیلان کرمانشاه از طریق ظرفیت­سازی و مشارکت اجتماعی، بر اساس یافته­های حاصل از اجرای طرح ساماندهی تالاب هشیلان با رویکرد ظرفیت­سازی اجتماعی انجام شده است. شیوه پژوهش، مشارکتی با کارکرد تحقیق در عمل است. جامعه آماری پژوهش، نهادهای محلی و دولتی و همچنین زنان و مردان روستاهای حوضه تالاب مخصوصاً روستاییان هشیلان است. برای ساماندهی تالاب هشیلان، از ابزار سیپا (برقراری ارتباط، آموزش و آگاهی عمومی) به عنوان ابزاری برای ظرفیت­سازی و مشارکت اجتماعی استفاده شد. برای برقراری ارتباط با جامعه و نهادهای محلی و دولتی در جهت برجسته‏ سازی اهمیت تالاب، جشنواره­ای برگزار و کارگاه­های آموزشی برای مردم روستای هشیلان اجرا شد. همچنین در راستای ارائه برنامه­های راهبردی، نشست­ هایی با معتمدان محلی تدارک دیده شد و از طریق پرسشنامه موردبررسی قرار گرفتند. داده‏ها با نرم افزار SPSS26 تحلیل شدند و تکنیک SWOT مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. طبق نتایج، برقراری ارتباط، آموزش، آگاهی و همچنین برگزاری جلسات آموزشی، مهم ترین عوامل مؤثر در حفاظت و حمایت از تالاب هشیلان به دست آمدند. همچنین توسعه گردشگری و بهره­برداری پایدار می تواند نقش مهمی در توانمندسازی جوانان روستایی و کسب درآمد پایدار داشته و زمینه را برای کاهش مهاجرت آنها به نقاط اطراف فراهم کند.

Abstract: 

wetlands are considered as one of the most important ecosystems in the world and they are also among the most threatened ecosystems in the world. On the other hand, knowing the birds' community and vegetation are considered as two important elements in the survival of wetlands. Therefore, the present study was conducted to investigate the species diversity of birds and plants for conservation objectives of the Sulduz wetland. Based on the results of this research, the vegetation complex of this wetland consists of 69 plant species belonging to 62 genera and 26 families. The families of Asteraceae (13 species), Chenopodiaceae (10 species), Poaceae (6 species) and Brassicaceae (6 species) have the highest number of herbaceous species was shown in sulduz wetland. Among the studied plants, the trophites with 45 species are the most, as well as camphites and phanerophytes, each with 3 species, constitute the smallest biodiversity of plant elements in the region, respectively. Also from the community of birds 127 species of birds in Solduz wetland belonging to 44 families and 15 orders identified and recorded. Among the various families identified, The Anatidea family with 18 species, Scolopacidae and Turdidae families each with 8 species are the most species richness in the wetland. Considering the proper vegetation and the availability of adequate water for the Sulduz wetland, development study of this wetland is a priority and to be placed in the Ramsar Convention in the proposed wetlands.

Abstract: 

wetlands are among the most important and endangered global ecosystems and provide a set of ecosystem services to society. wetland management is an active process of supporting ecosystem services, because human activity simultaneously extracts economic and social benefits from ecosystem services, so in order to maintain these services for a long time and sustainably, quick balance through planning and decision appropriate selection is required. In Iran, based on the 4th, 5th and 6th development plans of the country, the Environmental Protection Organization has been obliged to implement the ecological management program in cooperation with other organizations and main stakeholders. The Integrated management plan is a strategy for the integrated management of water, land and livelihood resources that promotes conservation and sustainable use in a balanced manner. Integrated management plan of Amirkelayeh international wetland has been prepaired in the form of an international plan for the protection of Iran's wetlands. The method used is strategic planning system. This management plan has been prepared based on the results of educational and consultative workshops and with the participation of representatives of major local and provincial groups. In this research, the general framework of the prepaired plan, including strategic and special objectives, and priority actions to achieve the final goal and vision, has been examined.
